Lincoln was full of great energy during the week of October 24th with the Red Ribbon Week activities, the PTC Halloween Dance, the grade level Halloween activities, and our AR goal incentive activities. Red Ribbon Week was a big success with students participating in the daily theme days that focused on saying NO to drugs. Thank you to Mrs. Clayton and the LES Student Council for their inspiring morning messages in helping everyone to know the harmful effects of drugs.
There are so many great things taking place at LES as we have begun the 2nd quarter of school. Our Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up on November 3rd from 3 – 7 pm. Every family is encouraged to attend this opportunity to be face to face with your child’s teacher(s) to discuss their individual progress by receiving and reviewing reportcards and other progress data reports.
We will be holding our first student recognition assembly of the year on November 4th as we celebrate the hard work of our little devils’ and their successes in academics, behavior and attendance. We continue to acknowledge our Stars and Students of the Month at the monthly Board of Education Meeting and also by sharing a special incentive including the Primary Star Student Breakfast sponsored by McDonald’s and the Intermediate Student of the Month lunch at Buona Vita Pizzeria. We are very proud of our students for their dedication in working hard to be the best they can be. Lincoln Elementary School August/September Students of the Month (Pictured on the left)
