The NKY Chapter of Kentucky Public Retirees will have their monthly meeting on Monday January 9, 2017 at Golden Corral 388 Orphanage Road Ft. Wright, Ky. at 11:45 a.m. We will have a short program beginning at 12;30 p.m. followed by a business meeting with adjournment around 2 : 00 p.m. We will discuss the General Assembly 2017 and role Kentucky Public Retirees will take in this session. A discussion will be held pertaining to Spousal membership adopted by the board in December 2016.
Any retirees along with their spouses from county, state, and state police are eligible to be members. The retirees must receive a pension from one of the following CERS, KERS, and STATE POLICE. Any current employees along with spouse or significant other who are in the 3 categories above are welcome to attend meetings. Membership is free from month of joining to end of the year December 2017.
Yearly membership dues are $15 individually. KPR application can be downloaded from their website. KPR has a facebook page and quarterly newsletter the "Kernel" that gives up to date pension news.
