Our board members serve for 4 years and are elected by the voters of the City of Dayton. Our board members freely serve our school community and provide leadership in areas such as mission, policy making, budget, and providing resources to improve achievement for each student in the district. A board member must carry out responsibilities for the benefit of, and in the interest of, individuals and groups in the school district.
The excitement about our Growing and improving school district is rooted in the work of our board of education. The academic improvements that led to our district being named the only River City District in NKY to be a Distinguished School District, is the direct work of the leadership provided by our board of education.
They are tireless and selfless members who work to make sure our school lives our mission to Inspire, Engage, and Grow each of our Students! When you see them about town, please take a moment to thank them for all that they do to Grow our Future!
Proudly serving as Superintendent of Dayton Independent Schools
