Gifted by Grace
We as individuals have our own gifts that we have been given. Some of us realize our gifts and use them fully, some of us haven’t discovered our gifts, and some of us know our gifts and decide to hide them. I encourage you to search your soul for the gifts you have been given and use them to better yourself and our community.
The gifts we have been given can be compared to a car engine. Each part of the engine has a different job. For example, the pistons, the spark plugs, the air filter, and the battery each have a very different job, yet they all work together to make the car run. We are like the engine parts. We have all been given different purposes and talents to get the engine to run correctly. Our engine is our community in which we live. It takes all kinds of talents to make the place in which we grow and live to be successful. I encourage you to find your gifts and put them to use to better our community.
Gift cards can also be compared to our gifts. We receive them as presents and save them for a rainy day. Why wait? Don’t hide your gifts! We forget we have them! Use your gifts and let them shine to help a neighbor out in some way. We can all be a hero in some small way to someone who could use our help. Use your gifts to inspire others to use theirs.
We cannot all be bankers, teachers, politicians, parents, or whatever individual jobs we may have, but we can all be believers. Everyone has a gift, find it and use it. Together we can make the world a better place for everyone.
