Betty Lightfoot, a member of First Baptist Dayton since 1952, celebrated her 104th birthday in February, and a birthday party was held in her honor. Betty will also be receiving recognition from the City of Dayton at the next council meeting on March 5.
Among other good news from First Baptist Dayton, two new members have joined the church through baptism recently. Matt Sumpter and Rhonda Brown are shown on the right, posing with their baptismal certificates and Pastor Harold Pike.

Avenue Pharmacy has proudly served Bellevue, Dayton, and the surrounding communities since 2002. We started in a small space inside Riverside SuperValu, moved into a larger space within the grocery building, and are now excited to announce that we are expanding again!
We recently purchased the building at 201 6th Ave in Dayton (formerly Smitty’s Bar). After several months of extensive renovations, we will officially open in our new location on Monday, March 18th. We will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and our phone number will remain the same; (859) 491-1700.
After we’ve had some time to settle in at our new location, we plan to host a Grand Re-opening celebration on Saturday, April 27th. At the Grand Re-opening, you’ll have the opportunity to get a closer look at our new home. We will provide food and drinks, and have several drawings for prizes.
We are grateful to the city of Dayton for all they’ve done to facilitate our search and relocation efforts. We are also very thankful for the tremendous support of our customers who have wished us well throughout this process. We are eager to share the transformation with you, and we are excited to continue our commitment to the communities we have grown with since 2002.
