ADDRESSING DRUGS AND BULLYING
We are excited to work with the Campbell County Drug Free Alliance to offer our teachers lesson plan content. These lessons pair education on substances such as prescription drugs, alcohol, and marijuana with academic concepts like debate, statistics, logic models, anatomy and physiology. It is critical to reach students with accurate information in order to improve knowledge, awareness, and attitudes related to substance use. Also, students in our summer school program have been writing and working on strategies to prevent bullying. If you are passionate about bully prevention, please reach out to Julie Rubemeyer, Sherri Chan and Rian Embry
STUFF THE BUS
Stuff the Bus will be held at the Newport Chick-fil-A on July 31st from 11am-7pm. Anyone can stop by to donate school supplies for the upcoming year. Those donating 3 or more school supplies will receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich! Proceeds will benefit Dayton, Bellevue, Southgate, and Newport Independent School Districts.
