The preliminary average for Juniors on the ACT is 20.7! Last year's average score was 19.1 so we're very proud of our juniors. Our college career readiness rate for seniors has now soared over 91% (last year's CCR rate was 78%) and two thirds of all seniors signed college or career commitments on senior signing day. The Senior Class wrapped up their Senior Service Project in late April. The class was given $1,500 from Magnified Giving and raised an additional $300 to award to non-profit organizations helping our community. Students spent time throughout the school year researching non-profits to determine which organization they believed could make the biggest difference with the funding. Students went on site visits and conducted interviews with agency representatives, and presented information to their classmates. The Class of 2017 is pleased to announce that Transitions will be awarded $1,000 and Cinderella’s Closet will be awarded $800 at the Magnified Giving Award Ceremony on May 16th.
