We continue to be so proud of the great work that our students, teachers, and staff are involved in every single school day while inside and outside of the classrooms at Lincoln Elementary School. Our teachers and staff continue to provide the best learning opportunities possible for each of our students inside their dynamic classrooms. So many of these same amazing individuals also put in hours after school and on weekends providing our students with extra-curricular and sports opportunities. We thank our teachers and staff members for their dedication in providing our students with the best elementary school experiences possible. They truly do inspire, engage and grow each of our students.
The LES students are each working hard to learn and grow. Students have just completed their first round of MAP tests, are working toward meeting their first quarter AR goals, and are completing assignments and studying hard for their weekly assessments as the first quarter ends on Friday, October 14th. Students are also learning and working toward being the best person they can be through their weekly Core Life character lessons. Many of our students are also involved with the multitude of “extra” opportunities offered after school hours. The following groups are already up and going at LES: Chess Club, Cross Country, Chorus, Girls on the Run, 21st Century Program, and Student Council. More teams and clubs will be beginning in the near future, too. (Drama, Wrestling, Robotics, Youth Basketball, Academic Team, etc.) We are proud of our little devils!
We would like to thank our LES families, Dayton community members, and staff members who supported our annual mumkin sale. It was another very successful year of sales. Proceeds raised will go directly into the student activity fund which provides our students with continued educational resources and learning opportunities and programs throughout this school year.
