Dayton Middle School and Dayton High School have teamed up with the 21st Century Community Learning Center and Dayton After School Hours (D.A.S.H) program, to create a memorable Summer Learning Program (SLP). Students entering grades 6-12 in the 2017-2018 school year are invited to join us for programs in writing, reading, and math.
If your child is willing to spend some time working in these areas during the summer, we will enrich their summer learning experience with a field trip every Thursday and every other Friday! Trips include science labs and electrofishing at Thomas More Biology Center, visiting the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, and experiencing hands-on science at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). Additionally, there will be five more field trips through the D.A.S.H program.
The SLP program will run 10:00-12:30, Monday-Friday for six weeks beginning the week of June 12, 2017 and ending on July 28, 2017. Students will also have the option of attending the D.A.S.H program from 12:30 – 4:00 every other week starting June 5.
