When life gets tough, it is so easy to give in and give up. Thankfully, we have someone watching over us, guiding us, keeping us safe. All we have to do is stay strong in our faith.
God dealt with the Devil long, long ago, but there are still times when he shows his face in today’s world. He does not appear with his red cape, horns and evil grin. He waits for our vulnerable times, times of sadness, insecurities, negativity, and possibly times of great stress. He waits for times we when we are facing doubt and he tries to separate us from God. No one is immune to the stresses of negativity and temptation. There are always forces to try to take us down. We must stand strong in our faith and know that He is near and will always be there for us. We are all God’s children, and He will not abandon us.
Evil exists in our world because we are humans living here on Earth. God never promised it will be an easy road. There will be struggles, temptation, and disruptions that cause doubt in our lives. We may even doubt our own abilities at times. All of these things come from the Devil planting seeds of doubt in our lives. We cannot give in to him. God has given us the power to defeat anything that is thrown at us. We must never lose faith, no matter how bad things seem.
Doubt will cause instability and stumbling blocks in our lives if we let it. Don’t let the Devil destroy your faith in God. Be thankful this upcoming holiday season for all the good in your life.
