I Can See Clearly Now!
We live in a world that is so consumed with material things; our jobs, our houses, our cars, and our social status. We become so blinded by all of this “stuff” that we cannot see what is truly important. We fail to see God among us! He is always there, but we don’t recognize him. Why? It’s because we focus on the wrong things.
We get so wrapped up in our lives that we end up looking for Him in all the wrong places. Where should we look? Deep in our hearts, is where to find Him. Sometimes we listen to the wrong people. We let society tell us how to dress, how to act, what to eat, or what to do, causing us to crash and burn. The answer is easy to find. It is and has always been within us. We simply need to look and listen.
It would be easy if God showed us our path with flashing neon lights. That’s not how He made us. We must search, listen and seek the light. He will make things clear when the time is right. According to John Wayne, every day we have an opportunity to flip the switch and turn on Christ in our lives. Please choose today to flip your switch!
